One of my few regrets is NOT quitting a job after they hired someone part time after I’d been working full time as a supervisor, and they made the new person the assistant manager. I wish I’d quit. Even a couple small raises would’ve been okay, not great but at least it would’ve been something. Most places at least give an extra .25 every six months to a year. My morale sunk so low that I stopped caring about the job, that’s never good for a company. I could’ve gotten robbed at night while closing up and would’ve just told them to take what they want and leave me alone so I could finish the paperwork lmao
